FOTD - Ellis Faas Skin Veil Pen S104, Concealer S204, Glazed Lips L306 and Milky Eyes E206

Today's FOTD is mostly Ellis Faas:Skin Veil Foundation S104, Concealer S205, Glazed Lips L306 and Milky Eyes E206. I went for a darker foundation in a very sheer formulation, because I was getting tired of my winter pallor! I also used bronzer and a peach blush to add warmth.

I applied the Ellis Faas Skin Veil Pen S104 using the brush applicator on the "pen". I smoothed it out with my fingers. I concealed with the Ellis Faas Concealer S204 and applied a bit of Inglot YSM Pressed Powder 41 to my t-zone.

I added warmth to my complexion with Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer in Bali Brown, and blushed my cheeks with Dolce and Gabbana The Blush in Peach 20 from the Ruby Collection.

I applied the Ellis Faas Milky Eyes E206 using the built-in brush, and highlighted with Kiko Milano Eye Shadow 128. I lined my eyes with Estee Lauder Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner pencil in 01 Blackened Black and applied two coats of Helena Rubinstein Feline Blacks Mascara in 02 Black Brown. I defined my eyebrows with Blink Eyebrow Pencil in Indian Chocolate.

I love Ellis Faas Glazed Lips L306 - a bright, sheer, glossy tomato red. Just the thing to combat the winter blahs!

Hope you liked today's look and thanks for reading!

  4. You look like you just returned from a tropical vacation with this look. Love how you used a really sheer darker foundation color to subtly darken your skin tone.

  5. wow, such excellent pigmentation and colour: really Ellis Faas signature mark. Coincidentally, I just blogged about that it can be possible to wear a darker foundation if it is a convincible transition and Ellis Faas looks really believable, unlike the D&G I tested.
Question: how do you rate the Inglot YSM Pressed Powder 41 you used?

  6. That lip color! It looks absolutely sunning on your complexion. Perfect pop of color on a cold, wintry day.
