Today's test drive shows just how a very good concealer can dramatically improve even your unmadeup face. I got a Maybelline Pure.Cover Mineral Concealer 01 Nude Beige as part of a 3 for 2 haul from Boots.com, and I really like this concealer. Maybe not quite as much as my Armani High Precision Re-Touch 3.5, but for £5.99 (actually FREE with my Boots order), it can't be beat.Above, you can see my bags, lines, discolorations, and brown spots in all their glory. I am wearing absolutely nothing on my face except for skin care and sunscreen. (And some skincare on my hoodie, too!!).
Here's my otherwise unmadeup face wearing Maybelline Pure.Cover Mineral Concealer 01 Nude Beige under my eyes, on my brown spots, and on my skin discoloration. A little concealer makes a big difference! This concealer is really easy to blend, and the 01 Nude Beige is the perfect shade for the average East Asian complexion.
A closeup of my under eye area...my lines, bags, brown spots and circles have been smoothed away--photoshop in a little tube!

I must check it out when i go to the uk in april. its not available here in malaysia unfortunately! =( is #1 nude beige the lightest shade available? do you reckon it will suit me? i actually have pics on my blog and im MUFE HD 117, MUFE F&B 38 and Revlon colorstay Buff. =) thanks!
Sometime its really surprising and fun to learn that inexpensive stuffs work as good as OR better than those expensive ones.
I'm in love with my bm bb concealer, which works better than Dior n mufe on me so far...
that's the only product from the Clear Smooth line that I didn't purchase, I am intrigued :)

wow! i'm surprised this concealer works this well :) i've been lemming for it for quite a while now...but don't know what shade I should get, I'm Nc25, do u think 01 or 02 will fit?
Aretha and Jennifer: I'm an NC20-25, MUFE 117-120, and I think that 01 would suit both of you. Keep in mind that Maybelline uses different shade names and numbers in different countries, and I'm classified as a "Light Medium" skintone in the US.
Wow, that concealer does a great job! I'm rediscovering my (older) Maybelline concealer as well. It's always nice to find cheap products that work well!!
Wow, this concealer really photoshop-ed your whole complexion! Yet, it looks so natural, and as far as I can see, it doesn't settle into any fine lines, huh?

Wow, I'm impressed! Lately I've been using the Murad Acne Concealing Treatment to cover and treat my cystic blemishes and I'm so amazed at how much better it makes me feel about my skin lol. I want to try this one now too though. Looks like the coverage is really good!
Ohh it does some nice work! Does it have mineral oil in it? I hope not, otherwise this looks like a concealer I need to try!

Looks great on your skin. Very impressive!.. but I do like your natural skin as it is. Your very fortunate because its so healthy looking and i love its color. If I dont wear bronzer or blush I just look like a corpse!!!
