When I got to Bangalore Central, I headed for the Lakme counter to check out their Autumn/Winter collection. I picked up some lipsticks, new A/W eye palettes, and a couple of Eye Pot cream shadows in Jade and Quartz from the Summer 09 Bridal Sutra Collection.
I got two of the Lakme Aqua Shine Lip Colors in Coral and Pink, as well as a Nine to Five Colorfix Duo in Champagne, a long-lasting lip colour.
The two Lakme Eye Color Quartets in Peacock and Purple Oasis have stunning colours. Interesting, the eye shadows are manufactured in Taiwan, and the lipsticks in Germany, even though Lakme is owned by Hinstuan Unilever. The products are very high quality.
I managed to pick up some very Desi sandals for my friend's wedding in Kerala. I'm wearing a Salwar Kameez with similar jewel insets, so these shoes will go perfectly with my outfit!I'll be doing a FOTD with some of my Lakme goodies tomorrow...another day of shopping with our customers....

Great haul! Somehow the purple oasis shadow reminds me of the Lunasol Purple Blooming For Eyes gradation palette ^_^

those creams in pots look sooo lovely. I love the color choice. Also, those eyeshadows look yummy! great choice in those sandals! I prob would have chosen the same one. Looks very cuute!

i love the 2 quads!!! i have read so much about this brand but never had a chance to try it. i find it interesting that they are made in taiwan. wonder if i can get this there???!!! well, we have lots of indian here but this brand is not seen here so...

I have bought and tried Lakme products and it actually is very pigmented and easy to blend. I've had them for 4 yrs ( i dun use it anymore) but they age really well.. no smells, no chips and they still look pigmented when swatched! Peacock looks lovely
